Training

Many of us would like to support of people who have experienced loss but we are not sure the best way to go about it.

“Grief Companion Training” is designed to equip adults who want to give informal support to those who are bereaved.

To be a “companion of grief” means being someone who will walk alongside a mourner as they adjust to the changed circumstances of their life.

The training is usually delivered as a short course or as day seminars.

The format is a workshop, with discussions and activities.

The content of the course has been endorsed by professionals. It can be delivered as a secular or gentle Christian-based course.
